Begginer Levels:
ABC
If you have never learnt Polish before then this is your level. You will learn how to give basic info about yourself and ask simple questions about time, location etc. You will also be able to read and write basic statements – signs, messages etc.
A1
You understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic Polish phrases. You can introduce yourself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live and people you know. Can interact in a simple conversation.
*A1 is divided into Two small levels: A1.1 and A1.2
A2
You can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. You can describe in simple terms, your background and your immediate environment e.g. shop, cinema, museum etc.
*A2 is divided into Two small levels: A2.1 and A2.2
Moderate levels:
B1
You can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in Poland. You can have a medium length conversation on familiar topics. You can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
*B1 is divided into Two small levels: B1.1 and B1.2
B2
You can understand the main ideas of complex conversations and texts. You can talk to native speakers with enough fluency so that the conversation is not too difficult or tiring for either of you. You can speak on a wide range of subjects giving your point of view, advantages and disadvantages etc.
*B2 is divided into Two small levels: B2.1 and B2.2
Advanced levels:
C1
You can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and understand implicit meaning. You can express yourself fluently and spontaneously without obvious difficulty. You can switch between formal and informal language when required and speak on complex subject, both personal and professional.
*C1 is divided into Two small levels: C1.1 and C1.2
C2
You can easily understand almost everything you hear or read. You can summarise this information, giving arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation. You can express yourself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, going into detail even in complex situations.
*C2 is divided into Two small levels: C2.1 and C2.2
